Quitters!  It's too early to quit now!  That's for the Week 2 crisis... not what you should do!  Wink  Even if you are absolutely positive you won't be able to do 50,000, aim for as much as you possibly can, and don't worry about the rest.  No one's going to flip out at you for not making it--as long as you try it, then you've still made an accomplishment.  Wink  So write, everyone, write write write!  (But yes, homework comes first, as has been the case with my NaNo currently; I've had to put it aside to be sure I don't fall behind in the November-load-of-homework.  Going well, though, I'd say.  Smiley)

I think this'll be insomniac night for me, lol.  Between the fact that I finally have a free night to do something and the fact that I should probably boost the word count some, I'll be working on my NaNo tonight.

Hurray! Another person to come NaNoWriMo'ing with us!

Welcome, Evenstar, from the land across the sea, I presume?

(I'm having fun with the above. It just poped into my head...as well as the Lord of the Rings.)  Cheesy

I was also going head to head with other people to see how much we could write in ten minute (even though yo can go longer)

I can't believe I  forgot about this site! it's really helpful. Smiley Anyone behind or seeing how much you can write in given time . . .or need consequences for not writing should come here >: D

http://writeordie.drwicked.com/

400 is the most I've been able to get thus far for ten minutes.  And Write or Die makes me write complete crap.  I'll usually write three of four hundred words on it, then take those words back to my word processor and edit them, which usually just adds 100 or so words.  It's really a great tool.

My writing energy for the day was channeled into a Greeni one-shot that randomly hit me about mid-afternoon... would be at 11,000 words if you put the one-shot with my NaNo, though thanks to that, I didn't get anything done today. *hmph* Lots of writing for me this week, I guess. Cheesy

13,775 words... Whew... I'm definitely going to regret my homework situation tomorrow, but for right now I'm definitely caught up. Of the nearly 14,000 words though, I think I'm probably going to end up keeping about 3,000 Tongue Lol I just can't bring myself to hit "delete" on half of it because I don't have the time to go back and retype. Ah well... that's what December's for, isn't it?

Bahahaha.  I am actually really loving my story because of its horrifying uneditedness.

And it's so like Twilight!  Mysterious stranger meets normal outcast and the air of suspicion but secret love is everywhere in the twon of Forks Westerly!  I really can't help but just grab the popcorn and watch where it goes.

Cheesy Well, at least you like where your story is heading! I'm pretty excited about mine as well.
