And people ignore my briliant Jhonny Depp as Tenga casting. I also thought Christina Ricci would be awesome as Angela!

Johnney Depp would be the perfect Tenga! Ugh, no, not Christina Ricci. Maybe like the female version of Durza, but otherwise...

Hmm...
What about adding Hugh Laurie? Though he is British, he can pull off an amazing American accent!
Perhaps Brom? Or...Tenga? Not Galby, though.

I can't look at him without seeing him popping plls. He could be Orimis!(I guess Ian McKellan's played wise old mentor one to many times... unfortunately. )

That would make a halarious out-take!
*Hugh Laurie [as House] popping pills before acting out Oromis!
I laughed out loud when I read that!
I just thought of another really good actor: Morgan Freeman! He'd make an amazing Ajihad!

I actually really liked the actor that they chose to play Ajihad in the movies-- Djimon Hounsou (although, they really didn't give him much at all to do or say to show his acting chops... AHA! Actually, Djimon Hounsou is how I imagined my SFF character Faraji to mbee. ). But anything with Morgan Freeman in it is bound to be spectacular. If he could wield a sword convincingly, he'd be awesome, but I've always imagined Ajihad as still as quite bit younger than Morgan Freeman... Ahahaha! Meg Ryan as Angela and Hugh Laurie as Oromins... is this a parody cast we are making?

And the ever-hot Alex Pedfyer as Eragon!
"So what if you don't like flying...we'll just knock you out when you have to be on Saphira!"
Alex Pedfyer: "Okay."
Faints.

Seriously, I can't believe he turned down the role just because he was scared to fly!!! They make drugs to knock you out! Or, go by land and sea!! But, gah!! He would have been perfect. *sigh*

Still, the guy who plays him is good looking all the same. That's a plus.

Yes, I liked Ed Speelers. I though he fit the bill for Eragon. Still, I was felt that something was lacking from him... perhaps he was a little too cocky for Eragon...? he would have made a great Peter Pan, methinks...

Johnny Depp as Tenga... mehhh. I'm unsure on that one. Depp's a bit *too* insane, you know? Tenga is more a crochety old man who doesn't care what you think about him. At least in my mind.
Meg Ryan as Angela and Hugh Laurie as Oromis?! Noooo! Never! Morgan Freeman would be OK, but he's too old to be Ajihad. Yeah, I agree that the guy they had playing Ajihad was pretty great, actually.
I'm not a big Ed Speelers fan. Didn't like his voice, didn't like his looks, wasn't too sold on the color of his hair, either. Isn't Eragon supposed to be dark-haired?
EDIT: Alex Pettyfer is pretty hot... hmm. He's not dark-haired, but that's OK. I agree that he'd make a pretty good Eragon. Besides, the visual contrast between dark-haired Murtagh (at least in the movie) and light-haired Eragon is good, I suppose.

haha, Swen, this would be my *parody* cast. Isn't Eragon supposed to be dark-haired?
Actually, I'm pretty sure he was described as having sandy colored hair... Once again, I hardly recognize any of these names. Pictures please?
www.imdb.com !!! Quick and easy reference for everything movie related! Amazing site. I use it all the time.

Here, I'll put up some pictures. I'll put up a couple for each, so you can get a couple of perspectives on what they look like. Johnny Depp (suggested for Tenga): (Captain Jack from Pirates of the Caribbean, Sweeny Todd from Sweeny Todd, Willy Wonka from the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) Meg Ryan (Angela): Megan Fox (Arya): (the girl from Transformers) Alex Pettyfer (Eragon): Christina Ricci (Angela): Hugh Laurie (Oromis or somebody): (he's Dr. House from the show House) Morgan Freeman (Ajihad) (Lucius Fox from Batman Begins/The Dark Knight)
