*shrugs* Australia is and always will be a difficult and harsh place but Australians are very stubborn usually, so I think that's why we're independent. But OMG its hot at the moment. They're thinking we're gonna get a fifty degree day.
And we better get off the topic of Australia-as awesome as it is-and back on WoT or the mods will be cross.

Lol, fify degrees as in Celsius, right? That sounds hot....
Anyhoo, I'm two thirds of the way through The Dragon Reborn. I hear that these past three books are the best of the series? Agree or disagree?
And has anyone read The Gathering Storm, yet?

To answer your question: Nope.
Does anyone have these books on a Kindle?
I'm thinking of putting 'em on there, just becuase of the sheer length. All the same...these books look amazing!

I've finished the Dragon Reborn and have started The Shadow Rsing. It's pretty epic thus far, hough it's been a little confusing. There are some things happening that seem to be a stretch magically for these books. I'll have to see how they get resolved.

Just finished Gathering Storm. It was brilliant, even if Brandon Sanderson couldn't live up to the massive hole left by RJ's passing. This is my favourite quote, which you'll understand when you read it: "And by the way, your dress is green." (Verin sipping tea) (Egwene's thoughts go along the lines of 'wtf' for a few moments there.) Second favourite: "You didn't ask where I got this."
"You're Aes Sedai," Mat said, shrugging, "I figured you...you know, saidared it."
"Saidared it?" Verin asked flatly
He shrugged.

Lol, can't wait to see how that works.
So would you say that the story in the Gathering Storm is better than the story was after book four? I heard that it got really slow for a while after book four until book twelve.

Is the poll centered around the Wheel of Time series?

Yes, it is. Aes Sedai.
In that case, do the bookworms have any cool powers? What's Aes Sedai?

It's not so much that the different Ajahs have different powers. It's more along the lines of their political or philosophical beliefs. The bookworms believe in the knowledge gained through reading.

It is true that knowledge can be gained through reading, but that's ALL they do, to the exclusion of most other aspects of life.
